Cataclysm Talents and Glyphs: Survival Hunter

Talents
Tier One of Survival
- [Hunter vs. Wild](3/3): Gives 10% stamina which is amazing for PvP.
- [Pathing](3v3): Taken as a filler talent. More useful than [Improved Serpent Sting].
Tier Two of Survival
- [Survival Tactics](2/2): Allows for more disengages and fewer trap resists.
- [Trap Mastery](3/3): Keeps [Ice Trap] active for 39 seconds. Great for kiting.
- [Entrapment](2/2): AoE snare effect for 4 seconds. Perfect for peeling.
- [Point of No Escape](2/2): Increases your crit chance by 6% while enemy is affected by [Ice Trap].
Tier Three of Survival
- [Thrill of the Hunt](3/3): One of the best talents for getting extra focus regen.
- [Lock and Load](2/2): By far the best talent in survival. Provides tons of extra burst.
NOTE: [Counterattack] is not taken because of the lack of parry hunters currently have.
Tier Four of Survival
- [Resourcefulness](3/3): Reduces Trap cooldowns by 6 seconds. Extremely useful when dropping multiple [Ice Trap] for kiting.
- [Mirrored Blades](2/2): Reflects casted spells back. Useful to reflect CC back on caster.
Tier Five of Survival
- [Toxicology](2/2): Filler talent. Increases crit damage of [Serpent Sting]
- [Wyvern Sting](1/1): Used to CC an enemy or interrupt a cast.
- [Noxious Stings](2/2): Increases ALL damage done by 10% when [Serpent Sting] is on your target. Extremely useful.
- [Hunting Party](1/1): Increases your agility by 2% and attack speed by 10%. Extremely useful.
NOTE: [Black Arrow] is not taken because it is dispel-able and has a high focus cost for its damage done.
Tier One of Marksmen
- [Efficiency](3/3): Reduces focus cost of your major damage abilities.
Tier One of Beast Mastery
- [One with Nature](3/3): Filler Talent. Not very helpful.
- [Bestial Discipline](2/3): Filler Talent. Not very helpful.
Tier Two of Beast Mastery
- [Spirit Bond](2/2): Increases healing taken by 10%. VERY IMPORTANT!
Survival Glyphs
Prime Glyphs
- [Glyph of Explosive Shot]: Increases crit chance of survivals main damage ability.
- [Glyph of Arcane Shot]: Increases damage of an important survival ability.
- [Glyph of Kill Shot]: Extremely useful for killing a target when the glyph does not bug out.
Major Glyphs
- [Glyph of Disengage]: This glyph along with [Survival Tactics] gives hunters a 16 seconds [Disengage]. Very helpful.
- [Glyph of Master's Call]: Allows the hunter or a party member to kite longer by increasing the duration of [Master's Call] by 4 seconds.
- [Glyph of Trap Launcher] OR [Glyph of Raptor Strike]: I prefer to use [Glyph of Trap Launcher] because of how often I use [Trap Launcher] however [Glyph of Raptor Strike] is preferred by most hunters.
Minor Glyphs
- [Glyph of Feign Death]: Our best PvP minor glyph. Use [Feign Death] to stop harmful casts coming your way.
- [Glyph of Scare Beast]: Allows for a less pushed-back [Scare Beast] when being hit.
- [Glyph of Mend Pet]: You will NEVER have to feed a pet again by using this glyph. It will probably save you THOUSANDS of silver!
