Holy Paladins for RBG 1700-1850 MMR

    Hey Guys,

When I do RBG's and we do a flag carrier map I usually do not do top healing because I follow a tank around. Sometimes I get to go back to the group and do some healing. But the thing is everyone always expects an Hpal to do top healing. How can i do top healing if I follow the FC and the most damage is done in the first battle where Im escorting the tank? The first fight is where people take the most damage and all the offensive cooldowns are used. Sometimes I also see people low but have to leave the group to go for the tank. Now when I try to stand there and heal I get people topped but then the tank gets opened up on and Everyone is like wheres the Hpal. Now am I wrong for preventing a Wipe or Should I always be with the Tank and wasting healing output and in return getting yelled at for not having top heals. Plus when the tank Dies and after I used all my Cds why do i get blamed for it one Im healing the tank keeping him alive against 3dps for 30+ seconds. Yesterday I kept the Tank up and but there was a Rogue, Lock, And Ele on him. He eventually Died after some good CC. The rogue also solo-ed the tank at one point when I was preventing a wipe. So how much of this is my fault and how should I Improve. Please give me tips, advice, and any critique you feel necessary. Character Name: Beggformercy on KT. Thanks in Advance.

Top healing means nothing if your not healing EFFECTIVELY Tell your BG teammates that Top damage top healing top whatever doesnt matter. Its how you utilize that damage/healing offensively and defensively. Why does it matter how fast your car goes if you can even drive it out the garage without crashing it.

Your heals have to be situtational. Prioritize whats more important, The FC or the big team battle happening outside of of the Alliance entrance. If your job is to protect tank then the best you can do it help him while escorting. And you cant get blamed if you get jumped by 5 other people. Shame on your teammates for blaming you and not controlling/CCing them off you and the tank. Also you make it seems as if your the only healer in RBG because if you are you need to ditch that RBG group and find smarter friends. You should 3 healers in your RBG. 1 for Group heals. 1 for group heals/cc dispels and 1 for the tank. If your using Teamspeak/Vent/Skype dont be afraid to call out for back up or help. You can only do so much and thats the best you can.

Thank You very much for your Feedback. Sometimes I have this problem with "Good Players" pretty much these guys are elitist jerks and It happened to me again today. As Far as maximizing total healing output I have a large healing output when I
m not on a flag map. But can you offer any tips on topping the healing chart? I know its not important but I feel like this is a small simple silly thing which is preventing me from playing with good groups and thus causing me to not get the highest rating I am capable of because I am forced to pug. I always question should I pop Wings and Divine Favor early in a fight and kind of "steal all the heals" before someone gets to it or should I just keep healing effectively? Healing Effectively works but sometimes I get kicked from a group for not being top heals as a hpal and letting a disc outheal me. This happened to me about 4 times and only one of those games was a loss. So how do I top the charts? Heal as normal or do I try to pop cds to absorb heals before any other healer can get to them. Its not even about winning or losing but actual numbers. Im stuck not being able to stay with good groups on FC maps. Any other map I am fine. Please give some advice on this.

You should ALWAYS go with the group and start in the big battle, and let your tank run at his own. It's also your tanks job to check where the rogue is, by checking people buffs and stuff. If you FC know the rogue is going for him or if the rogue is opening on him, he have to call it out so you can go help him.
But don't follow him all the time, that will be wast of your healing and you will proberly lose the start battle, you should always stay with the group and let you tank run alone and when he get the flag, he will run back to you and stand behind the group so you can contiue healing the group.

PS: If the rogue is going for you tank or if he already opened on him, but your tank still is on his mount, then you can BoP him and the rogue can't do anything at all.

What? always go with the group? No way.

If they have a rogue, look for the honor among thieves buff on the main enemy group. If they have it, stay with the group, if they don't.. escort your tank or he's gonna have a rogue on him for a while.
    +REP for helpz.

I am having bit problems too with FC maps as a main Flag Carrier healer (paladin). Altho, my problem isn't topping the charts so this might be off topic.

When I am peeling off from main group to go assist our FC (Prot Warrior) and rogue has vanished from main battle to slow him, I often find it hard to keep rogue off from tank, and get the FC throught the small area to actually reach the flag.

I am using BoP if he is still mounted, freedom, dispels, HoJ and Holy shocking/judgementing the rogue if he tries to restealth. But still it sometimes takes long time to get FC to the flag.. So any advices for helping FC on rogue situation?

Other thing that keeps happening is that after our FC has reached the flag and we still got the rogue slowing us usually their mage and 1 ranged DPS comes to him and I find myself being cc:d after using bubble, trinket and hand of sacrifice since no change to LoS all incoming CC. At this point the situation has been called already in TS3, but still I feel like my team expects me to handle the situation and protect FC safely to our base. Should I be able to protect him against 3 good CC classes? If so, anytips to avoid incoming cc?

We are stuck right under 2k rating, and getting bit frustrated so any tips for FC maps would be awesome!

Ofc you have to peel of if the rogue is going for your tank, but you can easy buy you some time. Look if the main group have the rogue buff, if not, then let you tank run close to you on mount and you give him bop. This will buy enough time to stay in the main group for longer time, you FC should be able to get flag easy if only rogue is going for him and he is bop. When your FC got the flag, you can peel of to him. If your FC is good then he should have many problems survival a rogue for a bit.
