Question about Comp (Some General Strats)

Hey I am putting together a 5s team to hopefully push rating.

We plan on Running:
Frost
Arms
MM or Sub

then for healers

Disc
Resto

I think this comp would be viable because it has an immense ammount of CC (hard and soft) and can also pump out a lot of damage with lightning fast switches. Correct me if I am wrong btw.

Heres my questions for Yall
Which would you choose: Rogue or the Hunter
-Rogue has sap and blind which is very nice but I am leaning towards the hunter because of scatter traps and silencing shot.
You can also reconmend a different comp. That is fine. I just want the Mage and the Warrior to stick together because we are making the team.

With the way rogues are right now (They are on the best end of the spectrum for both control and damage), I think you would be better off with a rogue. Especially when you add smoke bomb to the equation (Arguably one of the best abilities in the game). But the only way to really know would be trying both, but that's just my opinion.

Yep i know 2 rogues with Legendaries so that could help out to.

Rmpls would be your best be for a 5s comp or something like 2345 (mage,warrior,shaman(ele),priest,pally).

I have run RMPLS but I want to do something with my warrior buddy. Why is that comp u suggested called 2345?

Cause back in the day all the shaman had to do was hit 2,3,4,5. So it became a joke & the team name

2 - Bloodlust
3-Elemental Mastery
4- NS
5- Chain Lightning

Gotcha, Is ele shamman in 5s even still viable now that BL is gone and such?

Yeah ele shaman do alot of great burst imo. If you have MS on a target in a full throwdown pop cds on w/e your on with both healers in cc you can land a really good kill. Like hex 1 healer poly 1 healer or get aoe fear or a hoj :P

Thanks for the help. Will try to set that up. One more question. Someone on my server wants to run HPally, Disc Priest (or resto druid), frost mage, unholy dk, ret pally. He has team already at 1850 or so. Will that comp work?

It's not bad but its not amazing. If he wanting to run like dk/ret/disc/Rshaman/rogue that would be ALOT better maybe even a hunter over the rogue.
