RBG - Team comp for MoP?
Our guild is small and still gearing up so we haven't done any RBGs yet.
From those that have any early thoughts on especially strong/weak classes/setups with MoP?
e.g.
Best FC class?
Anything special needed for the new BGs?
Is spell cleave still OP?

I responded to this thread, and so did Iceking... Did S-C accidently delete the responses? I noticed the site being down yesterday.. Maybe that's why?

Currently using:
Monk/Pally/Druid or Sham Heals
Tank Druid FC
Arms Warr
Spriest
Ele Sham
Warlock/Mage/Rogue (2 of the 3)
DK
Facerolled to 1800, going for 2200 this weekend, should see how this comp actually works at higher ratings.

I would say that most comps will work (and even be pretty faceroll) up to around 2k, granted that you're playing with people with ~2k experience. Some comps will ofcourse counter other comps on specific maps (mostly casters>melee on the new mine-bg), but on most maps all setups work pretty well. I would always bring a mage for control tbh. Even a good mage in crafed pvp gear can be extremely useful (ofc only better with gear, but the massive aoe control they bring is enough to justify bringing even a bad geared one).
Yesterday we ran with
Hpala
Rdruid
Rshaman
Warrior fc
Desto lock
Mage
Ele shaman
BM hunter
Spriest
Frost dk
In several games we managed to graveyard farm the other team - even though our mage is in full crafted gear and greens (he was basicly just our cc bot, lol). Mmr was not super high though 1900-2k) because 3 people played their alts. But almost everyone in the group (except me, hehe) has 2.4k arena experience, and we even had two rank 1 gladiators (on alts) in the group.
Anyways. The setup had a really nice balance between cc, damage, survivability and general utility - so I would really recommend people to try it out

Is warrior still the 'go to' flag carrier for rbgs then?

Yeah that's my favourite atleast... Some use feral druids because of how fast they move... You might be able to get some fun ninja caps on that account. But it's fairly easy to counter. Monks also work well as tanks.
One of the things I like about using a warrior is that you can have them go arms for the bgs that does not require a tank. That's what seals the deal for me atleast.
