Cool Help/harm macros! Improve your gameplay!

    Hello,

I figured I would share some of my macros since people are interested in playing WotC. These macros helped me get into it with amazing efficiency. I hope someone can play just a little bit better by useing some.

First off: What is a help/harm macro?
A help/harm macro is a macro that changes what spell you will use based on the target. Friendly or enemy. for example, if you target a friendly it may be a dispel, and when you target an enemy, it will purge. Same goes for heals and damage.

    Why does this help me?
Using comfortable key binds is always a good idea, now if you have leveled as that class, you have a similar key bind for damage. These key binds keep the best of both worlds close by.

    Examples of help/harm macros?
    Monk
    #showtooltip
    /stopcasting
    /stopcasting
    /cast [harm]Tiger Palm; Renewing Mist

    #showtooltip
    /cast [harm]Rising Sun Kick; Effuse

    #showtooltip
    /cast [harm]Blackout Kick; Enveloping Mist

    Shaman
    #showtooltip
    /cast [harm]Flame Shock; Riptide

    #showtooltip
    /cast [harm]Lava Burst; Healing Wave

    #showtooltip
    /cast [harm]Lightning Bolt; Healing Surge

    #showtooltip
    /cast [harm]Chain Lightning; Chain Heal

    #showtooltip
    /cast [harm,nodead]Purge; Purify Spirit

    Paladin
    #showtooltip
    /cast [harm]Judgment; Holy Shock

    #showtooltip
    /cast [harm]Crusader Strike; Holy Light

    #showtooltip
    /cast [harm]Consecration; Flash of Light

    #showtooltip
/cast [harm]Holy Shock; Light of the Martyr
    Druid
    #showtooltip
    /cast [harm]Moonfire; Rejuvenation

    #showtooltip
    /cast [harm]Sunfire(Solar); Lifebloom

    #showtooltip
    /cast [harm]Solar Wrath(Solar); Regrowth
    Priest
    #showtooltip
/cast [harm]Shadow Word: Pain; Power Word: Shield

    #showtooltip
    /cast [harm]Smite; Shadow Mend

    #showtooltip
    /cast [harm]Dispel Magic; Purify

I hope people can use these and improve some comfort when getting into healing. I know these helped me. If people want them, I can post the rest of my macros that made life easier.

P.S. If these helped you, feel free to increase my rep or leave some feedback.

I'm not currently by the house to test, but could you mix this into a Modifier macro? For example

    #showtooltip
    /cast [harm,nomod] Rising Sun Kick;Effuse
    /cast [mod:shift] Crackling Jade Lightning

Yeah those harm macros can easily work with a modifier too.

You can do this with stance macros, for example "/cast [stance:0] Rejuvenation" will cast Rejuvenation if you're not in a stance. Just put each spell you want on a separate line.
