with a corruption budget of 161 [122 resistance 39 corrupt] which produces more damage please?

8 x Gushing Wounds = 120/161

7 x Gushing Wounds + 1 x Echoing Void 140/161

6 x Gushing Wounds + 2 x Echoing Void 160/161

hope I got my sums right.

You should just use 8 gushing wound. If you want to mix it up you can throw in a versa amp.
