Warlock Static damage turret

is warlock viable above 2k rating in arena, played static from the middle of the map as one of your videos suggest?
i have a degenerative medical condition that makes it very difficult for me to move my character around but i can cast spells ok with my right thumb via a 12 button mouse
i was considering giving up wow but if i can play Lock that would be great.

Any alternative ideas welcome
