Hi Filovirus, first just let me say thanks for your critiques. Really appreciate you taking the time to help people out.

Unfortunately the only game I have recorded is a pre-patch WLD. Our druid quit wow recently, so I don't have anything more recent. This is also the first clip I've ever rendered/uploaded so I'm not sure about the quality.

Please feel free to be harsh. I think my major mistakes were getting locked out of shadow school during one counterspell and the priest fear at the end should have been avoided. Our team positioning also wasn't great.

As a warrior/lock/x comp you need to put hard pressure/damage cooldowns into their priest to force them defensive, and drop cyclones/fears on the mage, and UA/fears on the rogue. A rogue will never die to warrior/lock (not for a LONG time anyways), and a mage can be hard to stick on w/ warrior mobility nerfs. Do your best to interrupt polymorphs and keep the mage controlled while you guys go hard on the priest.

You seemed to be peeling too late for your warrior; he was already pretty low and by that point it's a bit too late.

    Hey Filo,

Here is my link of videos the 4 newest ones are videos 1-4 after some UI changes etc. I appreciate any critique you have towards them. We are currently at 2025 and rising (as long as there is no warrior on their team). Thanks

    Filo,

Your pretty much the only active lock on this site so I hope you're still around. Alot of us depend on you for feedback to help us improve. Anyways I hope you're still watching these videos. I have a clip here of me and a feral druid in 2's. We run Feral/Afflic. I understand it's a wierd comp but it's a RL friend i play with so we just deal with it. I've never been higher than 1800 and I know I make alot of mistakes so I am hoping you can watch this video and critique my play overall as a lock and give some pointers.

Your overall positioning for Blade's Edge Arena vs. that Ret/Shaman wasn't too bad. The one thing you need to work on is generating your pressure at the right time. You guys did do a good job of peeling/resetting when it was necessary, but you need to work on getting good damage/pressure out. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you used Demon Soul at all that game, and it really is a -huge- ability; do not underestimate the extra damage it provides! If you guys had a good opener with a clone>fear>tremor stomp fear>coil>blanket cs with Demon Soul up you could make that Paladin bubble really really easily. In fact, probably by the time your second fear was ending he'd be bubbled.

You guys had a good CC chain at the end of the game when you landed the kill on the Feral, so that was pretty good.

Also, be sure to pay more attention to your focus so you can LoS Hex if necessary, and/or land your spell lock without an issue.

Probably the most important thing I saw from "Video 4 Win" is that you and your Druid need to really work on CC chaining the same target. When you guys get your synergy down and can successfully lock an opponent out for upwards of 20-25 seconds, you will notice a huge difference in your games.

Also, work on setting up cc on the priest when you guys are going for kills. One quick CS when the mage is starting to dip will force a block or a kill.

As a player I think you're actually doing quite well, but your team as a whole really really really needs to work on getting CC chains down; that's probably the most important thing in your case!

Sup Filo, was hoping that you could provide some insight on our gameplay, positioning and playstyle.

Well just two things I saw you help improve your play was you could key bind target arena macros instead of click on the players. It saves alot of time when trying to cc. Also when you guys put focus into the lock try banishing his pet because a banish on his pet puts him without soulink for 10 seconds which is huge when trying to kill a lock. Thats just my 2 cents tho. And if that is wrong someone let me know so I dont continue to do the same.

Please ignore the part where I spell lock the dk for no reason. And... Yeah I have more videos from the same session in my livestream channel. Thanks guys.
