Best Arms Warrior PvP Talents

These will be your default talents for Arms Warrior. As you may be confused by the selection of these talents, let’s look further into why these talents are chosen.

Make sure to use 31 of your points into the Arms talent tree before you place points in additional specialization trees.

When looking directly at the talents chosen for this default build, here are some talents that may require some explanation for why they are so valuable.

Deep Wounds is chosen for additional bleed damage from your Critical Strikes.
Blood Frenzy makes your enemies take more physical and bleed damage when a bleed effect has been applied.
Second Wind is a minor defensive and offensive tool, which generating Rage and HP for your character when stunned or rooted.
Throwdown allows us to stun a target for 5 seconds on a 45 second cooldown.

For Throwdown, this ability can’t be immediately trinketed due to its animation. This animation lasts around 1.5 to 2 seconds until being trinketable, which can also score unexpected kills against your enemies.

Changing our tree to the protection tree, there are notable talents selected here that are advantageous in PvP content.

Gag Order turns our Heroic Throw and Pummel into a 3 second blanket silence. This is highly valued in PvP, as this allows you to stop ranged casters more effectively, and can be used to land kills on healers.

For the section below, we provide talents that are flexible depending on the compositions you will be playing or facing.

Optional Arms Warrior PvP Talents

We can adjust the talents, Toughness and Blood and Thunder, for increased armor value or more Rends applied on nearby enemies respectively. Having your Thunder Clap can help reduce the amount of globals used if your targets are stacked, but is important to use this talent when playing compositions that don’t utilize breakable Crowd Control. When playing with Marksmanship Hunters and Mages, it is not advised to use this talent due to Thunder Clap’s range breaking nearby Crowd Control.

In the Arms talent tree, we have some flexibility with removing one point of Sweeping Strikes for an additional point in Sudden Death. Strengthening your Sudden Death talent will provide more opportunities to apply Colossal Smash on your enemies. This is not preferred in 3v3 combat due to Sweeping Strikes providing more consistent value against teams. This talent also enables swaps on opponents when your enemies are stacking, increasing your kill opportunities. This talent change can be more effective when playing 2v2 as opposed to 3v3 PvP combat.
