Devourer Demon Hunter
Ranged DPSA new twist on the Havoc playstyle, Devourer retains high mobility and micro CC while functioning as a mid-range spec similar to Survival Hunter. Most damage happens during Metamorphosis windows with big microbursts and multiple CC options for the enemy team.

Important Casts
Shadowmeld is an incredibly versatile racial ability. It can immune incoming projectiles like Mortal Coil and Chaos Bolt, as well as instant abilities like Blind and Kidney Shot. Using Shadowmeld also removes you as the target, preventing enemies from attacking or stopping your casts immediately.
Arcane Torrent is an offensive AoE dispel on a 2-minute cooldown that also grants 15 Fury. While not as versatile as Shadowmeld, the on-demand Fury can make a difference in tight situations where you need that extra resource for a kill.
Versatility is your most important stat for PvP. It provides both increased damage and reduced damage taken, making it essential for survivability and burst. Mastery: Monster Within increases your Chaos damage, which is where the vast majority of your throughput comes from. Haste reduces your GCD and increases Fury generation, allowing for more frequent ability usage during your burst windows. This could become better with more sustained damage focused builds, or any build that utilizes Collapsing Star. Critical Strike increases your burst potential and synergizes well with your damage abilities.
