Stat Breakdown

Skill Capped recommends the following stat priority for Frost Death Knight PvP:

Versatility is your most important stat for PvP. Focus on getting as much as you can, aiming for at least 20%. This will happen automatically through PvP gearing, as most items you use will have Versatility on them.

Haste not only reduces your GCD on all abilities but also increases the ticks you receive from Frost Fever. It is crucial to hit your 20% Haste breakpoint before prioritizing other stats.

Mastery: Frozen Heart is quite important for Frost Death Knight as it increases your damage profile, buffing your core damaging spells like Obliterate and Frost Strike.

Critical Strike is inherently your worst stat, but could potentially rise in value for 1-handers due to The Long Winter talent extending Pillar of Frost duration on critical strikes.

Double Elemental Focusing Lens provides a mix of consistent throughput and burst damage. In order to work, it requires at least 1 gem equipped and deals damage based on gem type. Typically you will want to put this on your crafted Neck or Rings as these will typically be the first crafted pieces you can obtain in the early season. Later on in the season, you can choose to use other Embellishments, especially Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension.

Use Enduring Bloodstone as your unique PvP gem for damage reduction when affected by Crowd Control. Fill remaining sockets with Masterful Sapphires for maximum Mastery. Alternative options include Versatile Onyx or Quick Onyx depending on your current secondary stats. Use Vicious Jeweler's Setting to add sockets to Helmet, Neck, Bracers, Belt, and Rings. For the Reshii Wraps cloak fiber socket, use Pure Energizing Fiber.
