Frost Mage
Ranged DPSA true wizard built around the Shatter mechanic. Has massive damage spikes during Icy Veins and can deal considerable burst with Glacial Spike, but spends most of the game slowing down the pace of arena.

Shadowmeld is incredibly dynamic and can immune incoming projectiles like Mortal Coil and Chaos Bolt, and instant abilities like Blind and Kidney Shot. It also removes you as the target or focus target, preventing enemies from attacking or stopping your casts immediately.
Hardiness grants a passive 10% stun reduction in PvP. This makes playing Shimmer much more forgiving. Blood Fury can be paired with Icy Veins to maximize burst windows.
Haste is extremely valuable for Frost Mage, reducing cast times, GCD, and cooldowns. More Haste means faster Frostbolt casts and more frequent procs. Versatility increases your damage and reduces damage taken, essential for PvP survivability. Mastery: Icicles increases the damage of Frozen Orb, Blizzard, Comet Storm, Ice Lance, Glacial Spike, and Ray of Frost. It's decent but lower priority than Haste. Critical Strike is less valuable for Frost since Shatter already provides massive crit chance on frozen targets.
