Human is the BEST race in the entire game for Shadow Priest, allowing you to wear two damage trinkets. For Horde, Undead is optimal with Will of the Forsaken, though Troll is a viable offensive alternative.
Human
RecommendedHuman is the BEST race in the entire game for many DPS. Will to Survive lets you wear two damage trinkets, which is a MASSIVE power spike since trinket procs represent huge burst windows.
Removes all movement impairing and loss of control effects. Allows you to wear two offensive trinkets instead of needing a PvP Medallion.
Undead
RecommendedUndead is your best Horde option. Will of the Forsaken is more relevant in MoP given the popularity of Warriors and Warlocks. Also, the casting animations are worth it on their own!
Removes any Charm, Fear, and Sleep effect. Shares a 30-second cooldown with similar effects.
Troll
Troll is an appealing offensive choice as Berserking is MUCH better in MoP compared to modern expansions. This is definitely the more aggressive option.
Increases casting and attack speed by 20% for 10 seconds. Great for burst windows.
