Human is the best Alliance race - Will to Survive lets you wear two damage trinkets for massive burst potential. Orc is the best Horde option with Hardiness stun reduction and Blood Fury burst.

RecommendedHuman is the BEST race in the entire game for many DPS specs. Thanks to Will to Survive, Humans can wear two damage trinkets - which is a REALLY big deal since trinket procs represent a MASSIVE power spike.
Removes all movement impairing effects and all effects which cause loss of control. Allows you to use two DPS trinkets instead of a PvP medallion.
Orc
RecommendedOrc is definitely your best Horde option. Hardiness is arguably the best racial passive in the game, offering 15% stun reduction which even STACKS with similar effects. Blood Fury is also a huge power spike, acting as a pseudo on-use trinket.
Duration of Stun effects reduced by 15%. This even stacks with similar effects.
Increases attack power for 15 seconds. Acts as a pseudo on-use trinket during burst windows.
Expertise with Axes increased by 1%. Use the Tyrannical Gladiator's Decapitator (Axe) for bonus Expertise.
