Standard 2v2 Build

2v2 Arena

This is the standard Holy Paladin build for 2v2 arena, mixing Holy and Protection talents for maximum survivability and aggressive play.

In the Protection tree, Redoubt increases block chance by 30% - you can actually block abilities like Kidney Shot if facing your opponent. Precision gives you all the hit rating you need from talents, freeing up gear slots for Resilience instead of hit gems.

Guardian's Favor extends Blessing of Freedom duration, which is crucial for enabling your melee partner. Blessing of Kings is your standard buff, while Improved Righteous Fury reduces all damage taken by 6%.

Improved Hammer of Justice reduces the cooldown for more frequent CC, which is essential in 2v2 where healers need to contribute to setups.

In the Holy tree, Divine Intellect synergizes with Holy Guidance to dramatically increase healing output while scaling with Intellect. Light's Grace reduces Holy Light cast time for healing through Mortal Strike effects.

3v3 Build

The 3v3 build shifts points from aggressive talents to defensive ones, since you'll be playing more passively at max range.

We move 2 points from Improved Blessing of Wisdom into Aura Mastery (so your Auras reach teammates at max range) and Blessed Life for damage reduction.

In Protection, we swap Improved Hammer of Justice for Stoicism, which gives stun resistance and spell dispel resistance. This is crucial against Rogue/Mage openers where resisting a stun can turn the game.

In 3v3, you rarely need the lower Hammer cooldown since your DPS partners handle most of the offensive setup.

Shockadin Build

Burst Damage / 2v2

Loading TBC talent tree...

The Shockadin build is for players who want to one-shot enemies. Yes, a healer that can one-shot!

The core of this build is Improved Hammer of Justice for frequent stuns and 5 points in Improved Seal of Righteousness for massive burst damage.

The combo works because Avenging Wrath, Divine Favor, and Judgement are all off the Global Cooldown. Chain them together instantly with Holy Shock for devastating damage.

Pro tip: Don't take Sanctity Aura - enemies can see your active Auras, so they'll know you're trying to burst. Catching opponents off guard is worth more than a bit extra damage.
