For Horde, Orc is the clear winner with its powerful stun resistance and Blood Fury attack power boost. For Alliance, Dwarf is essential for Stoneform which removes Wound Poison and Devouring Plague - both extremely common in arena.
Orc
RecommendedThe best Horde race for Hunter PvP. Stun resistance is game-changing against Rogues and Warriors, and Blood Fury provides a significant damage boost.
15% chance to resist stuns. Rogues need Kidney Shot to win games, so resisting it can be game-changing. Can stack with stun resist gems.

Night Elf
A weaker option compared to Dwarf. Shadowmeld cannot be used in combat, limiting its PvP value.
Activate to slip into the shadows. Cannot be used in combat, so limited arena value.
