Best Affliction Warlock PvP Glyphs

The glyph system has changed quite a bit in Mists of Pandaria as opposed to its Cataclysm counterpart. The most noticeable change being the removal of Prime Glyphs, meaning players will be limited to 3 Major and 3 Minor Glyph slots.

Tome of the Clear Mind will be needed to swap out any glyph from its respective glyph slot. You’ll definitely want to hold on to some of those, since some glyphs may be swapped depending on a certain arena matchup.

Major Glyphs

These three major glyphs provided below are your primary glyphs within your major glyph slots. Some glyphs offer variability depending on the composition you plan to play as.

Glyph of Unstable Affliction reduces the cast time on Unstable Affliction, which makes getting out DoTs much easier.

Glyph of Eternal Resolve gives you a passive 10% damage reduction, stacking with Soul Link, but prevents you from using Unending Resolve.

Glyph of Healthstone as our suggested soft-locked option. This will make Healthstone heal twice as much, but as a HoT effect. This isn’t as risky considering you’re passively tanky.

Additionally we have some situationally niche glyphs you may find useful in certain circumstances. These aren’t typically chosen as opposed to the ones already listed above, but can be super valuable if given the opportunity.

Glyph of Demonic Circle can be helpful against melee cleaves, increasing your mobility.

Glyph of Siphon Life is good in matchups where there is a lot of constant damage, as is the case against DoT comps.

Minor Glyphs

Even though minor glyphs do not greatly enhance the performance for Affliction Warlock, there is one minor glyph provided below that can be used in your minor glyph slots to minmax.

Glyph of Health Funnel makes it easier to heal your pet.
