Best Enhancement Shaman PvP Glyphs
The glyph system has changed quite a bit in Mists of Pandaria as opposed to its Cataclysm counterpart. The most noticeable change being the removal of Prime Glyphs, meaning players will be limited to 3 Major and 3 Minor Glyph slots.
Tome of the Clear Mind will be needed to swap out any glyph from its respective glyph slot. You’ll definitely want to hold on to some of those, since some glyphs may be swapped depending on a certain arena matchup.
Major Glyphs
These three major glyphs provided below are your primary glyphs within your major glyph slots. Some glyphs offer variability depending on the composition you plan to play as. Your only hard-locked glyph located here is Glyph of Lightning Shield, meaning you can opt out of Glyph of Feral Spirit or Glyph of Flame Shock for any alternative glyphs.
Glyph of Lightning Shield basically gives you 10% passive damage reduction as long as you are getting hit.
Glyph of Feral Spirit gives you a bit of self-healing out of Feral Spirit. This is generally played in most matchups since it is a small increase to your survivability.
Glyph of Flame Shock is another self healing mechanic, and is really good for padding damage against DoT classes.
Additionally we have some situationally niche glyphs you may find useful in certain circumstances. These aren’t typically chosen as opposed to the ones already listed above, but can be super valuable if given the opportunity.
Glyph of Hex reduces the cooldown of Hex and is great against teams where Hex will get full value.
Glyph of Shamanistic Rage will remove magic debuffs and even break you out of magical stuns like Deep Freeze and Hammer of Justice. Just be careful using it against Affliction Warlocks.
Minor Glyphs
Even though minor glyphs do not greatly enhance the performance for Enhancement Shaman, there is one minor glyph provided below that can be used in your minor glyph slots to minmax.
Totemic Encirclement will help protect your totems from getting instantly sniped down.
