Best Holy Priest PvP Glyphs
The glyph system has changed quite a bit in Mists of Pandaria as opposed to its Cataclysm counterpart. The most noticeable change being the removal of Prime Glyphs, meaning players will be limited to 3 Major and 3 Minor Glyph slots.
Tome of the Clear Mind will be needed to swap out any glyph from its respective glyph slot. You’ll definitely want to hold on to some of those, since some glyphs may be swapped depending on a certain arena matchup.
Major Glyphs
These two major glyphs provided below are your primary glyphs within your major glyph slots. Your only hard locked glyph located here is Glyph of Prayer of Mending, with Glyph of Renew being our soft-locked glyph.
Glyph of Prayer of Mending significantly increases our instant cast healing as the first bounce of Prayer of Mending will heal 60% more.
Glyph of Renew increases the healing of Renew at the expense of it having a shorter duration.
As for our flexible major glyphs, these listed below are situationally strong depending on the circumstance. You’ll be constantly switching in and out of these glyphs as you play.
Glyph of Power Word: Shield which will give you more overall healing.
Glyph of Shadow Word: Death is a must have into Mages, Hunters, Rogues, Paladins, and even Monks in order to break CC.
Glyph of Mass Dispel allows us to remove Ice Block and Divine Shield.
Glyph of Inner Fire is best if you are struggling to survive against melee, providing you with more physical damage reduction.
Minor Glyphs
All minor glyphs given to Holy Priest are purely cosmetic and give no advantage to players in a competitive setting.
