Why Subtlety Rogue?
Mists of Pandaria has completely revolutionized the design and playstyle of Subtlety Rogue, primarily due to the introduction of Subterfuge. This ability not only was a miniature Shadow Dance, but kept the Rogue in Stealth while active.
Rogues also pick up passives, such as Nerve Strike that reduces damage and healing done by targets for 6 seconds after coming out of Rogue stuns, as well as Prey on the Weak for a 10% damage modifier from all sources while targets are affected by Rogue CC.
Additionally, their mobility in MoP is quite overpowered thanks to Burst of Speed, a spammable sprint that removes all snare effects.
