Horde
Orc
Orc continues to be one of the best races for Shamans due to the extra stun duration reduction with Hardiness, which is helpful since Shamans are vulnerable to dying in stuns. Unless nerfed in 10.1, this will likely be the best overall race going forward in the expansion.
Alliance
Dark Iron Dwarf
Both Dwarf races are good for Shamans overall. As Enhancement, Dark Iron Dwarf takes a slight lead due to the fact that Fireblood provides a direct damage increase. While regular Dwarf has the advantage of a larger crit multiplier through Might of the Mountain, this is less valuable for Enhance compared to Elemental. With that said, the ability to remove Bleed effects with either Dwarf racial ability is incredibly valueable in any meta dominated by Assassination Rogues, Feral Druids, and even Arms Warriors.
