Horde

Tauren

Unfortunately, Horde doesn’t have an option as strong as the one provided by the Alliance. Nonetheless, Tauren is still the second-best option. It comes equipped with War Stomp, which is a perfect setup for Cyclone.

In addition, it gives you a slight HP boost with Endurance. It is a welcome passive, especially since it increases the value of Frenzied Regeneration.

Alliance

Night Elf

Without a doubt, Night Elf is still the best option in Dragonflight. Shadowmeld remains one of the best racials for healers overall, but especially for Druids. For one, it instantly drops combat and allows you to quickly sit down to drink and recover Mana, which works exceptionally well while in Prowl. And even when you don’t need to drink, it opens up the ability to instantly Prowl in order to start your CC with Rake followed by Cyclone.

Finally, Shadowmeld can be used to immune any incoming spell projectiles. This also includes instant cast CC, but requires precise timing on your part.
