Survival Hunter Stat Priority

Haste > Versatility > Crit > Mastery

After you reach 30% Versatility, you will want as much Haste as possible. After you reach 30% vers and 30% haste (without Insignia) you want to start focusing on critical strike due to stat diminishing returns. It not only increases your Focus regeneration, provides with shorter GCD and increases your attack speed, but also reduces the cooldown of both Kill Command and Wildfire Bomb. As long as you have around 30% Versatility, your goal is to maximize Haste above all other stats.

Hands: Stormwing Harrier’s Handguards
Shoulders: Stormwing Harrier’s Pinions
Chest: Stormwing Harrier’s Cuirass
Legs: Stormwing Harrier’s Greaves

Embellishments:
Item 1: Infurious Boots of Reprieve
Item 2: Adaptive Dracothyst Armguards

Best Survival Hunter Trinkets

Gladiator’s Medallion
Insignia of Alacrity / Gladiator’s Emblem

For trinkets, we recommend that you always use Medallion.

When it comes to the second trinket, you have two options: offensive and defensive. The best offensive trinket will be the Insignia. It gives us a huge passive increase to our best stat in addition to a very strong main stat proc. As for defensive, Emblem is great for providing you with an extra defensive CD for some tricky matchups.

Chest: Accelerated Agility
Bracers: Devotion of Speed
Legs: Fierce Armor Kit
Belt: Shadowed Belt Clasp
Boots: Plainsrunner’s Breeze
Rings: Devotion of Critical Strike

Best Survival Hunter Gems

Energized Ysemerald + Inscribed Illimited Diamond

We will be using Tiered Medallion Setting to get an additional gem slot in your neck. One a reasonable amount of Versatility has been reached (~30%), you should simply get as much Haste as possible.
