Arms Warrior Stat Priority

Versatility > Haste > Mastery > Critical Strike

Versatility will be our most important stat. You want to focus on getting as much of it as you can, up to at least 30%. This will happen automatically through PvP gearing, as most of the items you will end up using will have Versatility on them.

Next up we have Haste, which provides us faster rage regeneration by increasing our auto attacks, reduces the global cooldown and the cooldown of our Mortal Strike for more Mortal Wounds uptime, as well as faster ticks coming out of our bleed effects.

After maximizing these two stats, look to include some Mastery on our character. This applies a bleed to our target from some of our core damaging abilities, and gives us a damage boost on the affected target that scales based on the amount of Mastery we have.

Lastly, we have Critical Strike. Although this stat synergizes quite nicely with Opportunist in the Slayer tree, it’s quite marginal in comparison to our previously mentioned secondary stats.

When it comes to trinkets, we will want to equip Astral Gladiator’s Insignia of Alacrity. Not only does this provide Haste to better support our stat priority, it has an extremely high proc chance, passively supplementing our overall damage.

You will then need an Astral Gladiator’s Medallion to break out of CC every 2 minutes.

An alternative trinket from Astral Gladiator’s Insignia of Alacrity is Astral Gladiator’s Emblem, as this will assist us with surviving massive burst windows. Using this also scales nicely with Rallying Cry, slightly increasing its value.

Best Arms Warrior Embellishments

Item 1 & 2: Elemental Focusing Lens on any crafted slot.

Alternative Embellishments:

Item 1: Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension on any crafted weapon piece.
Item 2: Writhing Armor Banding on any crafted armor piece.

The Elemental Focusing Lens embellishment provides us with the most consistent throughput, and is only effective as long as you have at least 1 gem equipped.

This embellishment occasionally deals damage from a specific school of magic based on the gem you equip. Keep in mind that the damage from this embellishment can’t be buffed by cooldowns, talents, or any damage bonuses from school types.

Alternatively, if you would rather opt for a crafted weapon instead of a conquest one, we recommend using the Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension and Writhing Armor Banding embellishments instead. These provide us with a constant flow of secondary stats, and is quite valuable when we proc Versatility for some extra tankiness.

Best Arms Warrior Gems

Core Gems: Enduring Bloodstone + Masterful Sapphire / Quick Sapphire
Alternative Gems: Versatile Onyx

Core Fiber: Pure Chronomantic Fiber
Alternative Fibers: Pure Energizing Fiber or Pure Dexterous Fiber

In The War Within, you will use a Vicious Jeweler’s Setting to add sockets to your Helmet, Neck, Bracers, Belt and Rings. Two sockets can be added to the Neck and Rings.

As Versatility and Haste are your best secondary stats, you will want to both gem and enchant it wherever possible. Enduring Bloodstone will be our newly introduced PvP gem that can only be attributed once on your character’s gem slots. This will give you some additional damage reduction when affected by Crowd Control.

For all gem slots, we will use Quick Sapphire or Masterful Sapphire depending on preference. This will provide us a hefty amount of Versatility, while weaving in some Haste or Mastery, depending on the gem you select, as a minor boost to our stat priority. Alternatively, you can opt for Versatile Onyx to increase our damage modifier from Deep Wounds.

As of now, we notice a majority of players currently using the new Reshii Wraps cloak introduced from the 11.2.0 patch. This new piece of gear requires a fiber socket to which we suggest opting for Pure Energizing Fiber to best suit our stat priority. However, you can choose Pure Chronomantic Fiber instead if you find yourself lacking Mastery or Pure Dexterous Fiber if you want to increase your own survivability.
