Obviously, the main driving force for all adjustments this expansion comes from talents, and we will dive deeper into them a bit later. For now, let’s focus on the bigger picture.

What’s New for Enhancement Shaman in Dragonflight?

The Shaman class as a whole received a bunch of new and returning abilities. One of the most unique additions was Elemental Orbit, which allows Shamans to use two different shields.

Beyond this, Enhancement shares a familiar experience to its previous iterations, being a highly disruptive and damage focused melee DPS.

Enhancement Shaman Playstyle in Dragonflight

Currently there are two primary builds for Enhancement Shaman. One is built around Lava Lash and revolves heavily on spreading Flame Shocks to maximize AoE pressure and to funnel damage into single target burst. The other build has a similar damage profile, but is built more around Stormstrike. Both builds have seen success in competitive play and give unique playstyles for the spec.
