Shadow Priest Stat Priority

Haste > Versatility > Mastery = Crit

You want to focus on getting as much Haste and Versatility as possible.

Haste is a great stat as it increases your cast speed and reduces your global cooldown. It reduces the cooldown of your Mind Blast and even makes your DoTs tick faster. This translates into more procs, more damage and even more healing.

You should also do what you can to avoid Mastery and Crit.

Recommended Tier and Embellishments

Tier pieces:
Chest: Cassock of Lunar Communion
Shoulders: Shoulderguardians of Lunar Communion
Gloves: Touch of Lunar Communion
Legs: Leggings of Lunar Communion

Embellishments:
Item 1: Vibrant Wildercloth Slippers with Precognition, Versatility, and Haste.
Item 2: Elemental Lariat with Versatility and Haste

Best Shadow Priest Trinkets

Non-Human: Gladiator’s Medallion / Insignia of Alacrity
Human: Insignia of Alacrity / Insignia of Alacrity or Gladiator’s Emblem

As a Human, you can also play with Gladiator’s Medallion, but your offensive pick is always Insignia of Alacrity. This provides two static haste trinkets which greatly benefits Destruction Warlock. Gladiator’s Emblem is only recommended when you are having extreme problems surviving in a matchup.

Best Shadow Priest Enchants

Cloak: Homebound Speed
Chest: Waking Stats
Bracers: Devotion of Speed
Legs: Frozen Spellthread
Boots: Plainsrunner’s Breeze
Rings: Devotion of Haste
Weapon: Sophic Devotion

Best Shadow Priest Gems

Fierce Illimited Diamond + Energized Ysemerald

Since you should get 30% Versatility through gear, your gems will serve as a source of additional Haste. If you are below 30% Vers, however, definitely gem to make up for it. You will be using three Tiered Medallion Settings to get additional gem slots in your Neck.
